CHICKPEAS FLAKES
By processing Chick Peas into flakes, the cooking time for this legume is greatly reduced without altering the taste and texture.
Use: Perfect for hommos, soups, with bulgur, cuscus or durum wheat pastas.
Recipe idea: Chick Pea Purée: 1 part flakes, 2 to 2.5 parts salt water. Bring the water to boil and add the flakes, rosemary or mint. Cover and cook for 5 min. over low heat. Put through the vegetable mill and add Soyo (Celnat soya milk) depending on the required consistency of the purée.
