TOASTED CHESTNUT FLAKES
The Chestnut is a wild fruit and particularly rich in complex sugars. Processing it into pre-cooked flakes makes it easier to prepare and enhances its taste.
- Use: Chestnut soup: 1 part flakes, 2 parts salt water, 1 part Soyo (soya milk). Bring the water to the boil and add the flakes. Cover and cook for 10 min. over a low heat. Add the Soyo after cooking.
